                             BREAD PUDDING CAKE

I have some leftover  bread...thought of making something sweet....
You have probably heard of Bread Pudding, but what about a Bread Pudding Cake?
I just tried  to  convert  these classic dessert  into Cake style.

1⁄2cup butter
1/2loaf stale bread
Milk-1 1/2 cup
1egg (If you are a vegetarian. Then you can use 1/4 whisked  yogurt )
2tbsp unsweetened  cocoa powder
1⁄4cup flour
1⁄2cup sugar
2teaspoons baking powder
2tspsp raisins

Preheat oven to 180°C.
Crumble the bread and place it in a large bowl.
Bring the milk to a boil and pour over the bread. Leave it to soak the bread until cool.
 Mash with a fork.
Add the sugar, butter and the beaten egg, the sifted cocoa powder ,Flour and the coarsely chopped raisins.
Mix throughly.
Grease with butter 8inch  round cake tin and dust with flour.
Spoon into the cake tin, smooth the surface with a spatula.
Bake for about 40 minutes, until crisp on surface but still moist inside.Let cool and remove from the cake tin.
Enjoy your bread pudding  cake.
