Choco Red Velvet Cake



                                  


Valentines Special Choco Red Velvet Cake. ...

Preparation Time -10
Cooking Time -40 minutes
Servings - 6


:-Ingredients  for Cake:-

unsalted butter-2tbsp  (for grease the cake pan)
 cake flour-11/2cup (not self-rising)
cup cocoa powder-6tsp
sugar-1cup
 Vegetable oil -1/2cup
 large eggs-2(Vegeterian  people  can  use 3tbsp Yougurt  mixed witj 3/4cup water)
red food coloring-few drops
 vanilla essence -1tsp
Milk-3/4cup (room tempreture)
Baking soda-1/2 tsp
Baking Powder-1.5tsp


DIRECTIONS

Heat oven to 350 degrees F or 180 degreeC
Grease butter two 8 inch round cake pans. 
Sprinkle with flour, and tap out the excess; set aside.
 In a medium bowl, whisk cake flour, baking powder and baking soda ....set aside.

In the bowl combine the sugar and oil, and beat until well combined. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. 
Add vanilla and milk and beat until well combined. Add flour mixture slowly scraping the sides of the bowl with a spatula as needed.

Evenly divide batter between two portion...Mix  Cocoa powder with one portion and red food coloring with another portion.

First pour the Chocolate  Batter  into the pan ..afterthat pour red colour batter on the top of the Chocolate  Batter. .Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean

Remove from oven and let cool for 30 minutes if you want to  decorate the cake with  Frosting..
otherwise  after 10 minutes...serve and enjoy.
               





                   
Ingredients For Frosting
Butter -12Tbsp
Icing sugar -4 Cups
Vanilla essence -1tsp
Melted Chocolate -1/2cup
Red colour -2drops

Method of Frosting
Cream butter until smooth
Add icing sugar and beat until light and fluffy
Now divide the butter Frosting  into 1/2,1/4 and 2/4 portion....mix melted  chocolate  with one 1/2portion...and then mix red colour  with  another  1/2portion

Spread the white butter frosting icing on the cake..use a spoon to place some icing on the top of cake...spread it evenly with butter knife..Create a smoother layer of icing by dipping the knife into warm water.

Put the cake in the fridge to give the icing to completely set...after 20 minutes...after that take  it out from fridge  and spread chocolate  icing with tha same process...again put the cake ...after 20 minutes. ...take it out. ..and spread the red  food colour frosting ....then decorate with  cherries. .and serve..
