CHINESE FRIED RICE
Chinese fried rice is a dish of steamed rice stir fried in a wok mixed with vegetables like Carrots, French beans,Green Bell Pepper, Spring Onion etc..and also mushroom can be added. ...if you want to make Chicken Fried Rice...then can add Chicken pieces....or just can add Egg for Egg fried rice. ...or can add Shrimp along with Chicken, Eggs and Vegetables for making Mixed Fried Rice...
In Chinese Fried Rice. .Leftover Rice is generally used because the moisture in freshly cooked rice will cause it to steam instead of fry. (Source:Wikipedia)
INGREDIENTS:-for 3
- Cooked Basmati rice-3cup
- Carrot-2 (finely chopped)
- Beans-1/2 cup chopped
- Capsicum-1/4cup chopped
- Spring onions (white Part)chopped-1/2 cup
- Spring Onions (green part )Chopped-1/2 cup
- Onion - chopped - 1/4 cup
- Soya sauce-2tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper -1tsp
- Oil-1/4 cup
- Ajinamoto-1/4sp (optional)
- Chopped Garlic-1tbsp
METHOD
- Heat oil in wok
- Add chopped Garlic
- Add all chopped vegetables except spring onions green part
- Fry on high flame...stir continuously
- Add soya sauce. ..mix it with all veggies properly
- Add cooked rice....mix and stir continuously on high flame
- Add salt, black pepper and ajinamoto....mix and stir...cook for 2 minutes. .turn off the gas. ..
- Add chopped spring onions ...
Vegetarian people can add paneer....serve hot with spicy chilli paneer
