Ingredients:-
- Chana dal -1.5 cup
- Coconut-1/4th (cut into tiny cube pieces)
- Red chilly-2
- Chinamon stick-2 (1"inch )
- Green Cardamom-3
- Bay leaf-1
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Salt to tast
- Ghee-1/4 cup
- Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
- Ginger Paste-1tsp
- Sugar-1/2tsp
- Hing-1 pinch
- Kaju and kismis1/2 cup together
Method:-
- Soak Chana Dal in 3 cup water for 1 hour
- Pressure cook Chana dal with salt and turmeric powder..Switch off the gas after 3 whistle
- Heat Ghee in kadai..add Coconut pieces. .fry them untill light brown...dont overcook otherwise it will get burned..keep them aside
- Add Kaju and Kismis..fry them until light brown. .keep them aside
- Add Bay leaf, Red chilly and Hing.
- Add Chinamon stick and Green Cardamom
- Add boiled Chana dal, if required add Salt...add Sugar. .bring it to boil
- Add fried Coconut pieces, fried Kaju and Kismis
- Your sweet Chana dal is ready to serve...Serve it with Hot poori or Luchi...it is classic bengali breakfast. .Luchi or poori, Cholar or Chana dal and Begun Bhaja o r Brinjal fry
