INDIAN CHILLI CHICKEN

                               

  
Indian Chilli Chicken

This dish is called Indian Chilli Chicken. ..Chilli Chicken is a very popular dish in Indo Chinese cuisine. ..Indo Chinese cuisine because here we just took the name Chilli Chicken from China but added simple indian ingredients to get our spicy famous Indian taste.

                                      


INGREDIENTS FOR 2 PEOPLES

  • Chicken-500 gm(boneless or with bone cut into 2 inch cubes)
  • Garlic Paste-1tsp
  • Onion -2 (1 cut into slices and another one cut into 1 inch cubes)
  • Green Bell Pepper-1 (half cut into slices and ano one cut into 1 inch cubes)
  • Green portion of Spring Onion - chopped -1/2 cup
  • Soya sauce -4tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar -1pinch
  • Tomato sauce -2tsp
  • Oil-1/2 cup
  • Green Chillies -4 (cut into slices)
  • Garlic Cloves -6 (chopped)
  • Black pepper -1tsp
  • Ajinamoto-1/2 spoon (optional)
  • Water-1/2 cup
METHOD
  • Marinate the chicken with 2tbsp soya sauce, 1/2tsp black pepper powder, little bit salt snd garlic paste. ..keep it aside for 30 minutes
  • Heat oil in a pan...add chopped garlic. ..fry until garlic turn into light brown colour
  • Add sliced onions and green bell pepper. ..fry it until it release the aroma of bell pepper
  • Add remaining soya sauce..stir...add marinated chicken
  • Fry them on high flame for 4-5 minutes. ..stirring continuously
  • Add 1/2 cup water..salt ...sugar....... 
  • Add cubes onions and bell pepper
  • Bring it to boil. ..simmer the gas. ..cover and cook until the chicken get soft and water will get dried up
  • Remove the lid...add tomato sauce. .chopped spring onions. ..1/2spoon black pepper. ..ajinamoto...mix well cook for 2 minutes on high flame. ..stirring continuously
  • Turn off the gas. ...
Serve this Chilli Chicken with any Chinese Rice like egg fried rice..mixed fried rice. ..chicken fried rice. ..i had this chilli chicken with egg fried rice
