Gobi Bahar. ..Cauliflower Bahar

                        
                                       

                             
  GOBI BAHAR
Finally...Cauliflower season in being started. ...I just love the aroma of cauliflower while it is being cooked....here I tried to make this creamy Gobi or Cauliflower recipe....hope you will love it. .

Ingredients:-


  • Cauliflower-1 (cut into medium florets)
  • Potatoe -1 (cut into cubes)
  • Ginger paste -1tbsp
  • Tomato-1 chopped
  • Cumin seeds -1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder -1tsp
  • Red chilly powder -1tsp
  • Bay leaf - 1
  • Chinamon stick - 1 inch, Green Cardamom -2
  • Poppy seeds paste-1tsp
  • Cashew nuts paste-1tsp
  • Beaten curd -1 tsp
  • Salt to tast
  • Sugar-1/2tsp
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add cauliflower. ..fry them until light brown. .keep them aside
  • Add potato cubes...fry them until light brown
  • Add bay leaf..green cardamom and chinamon
  • Add cumin seeds. .let them crackle
  • Add Masala Paste (add ginger paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chilly powder in a small bowl and mix with little bit water)..fry it
  • Add chopped tomatoes. ..fry them until oil gets separate
  • Add fried potatoes and cauliflower..mix them well
  • Add salt and sugar. ..mix and stir
  • cook on medium flame. ...now add..1/2cup water. .bring it to boil. ..cover. .simmer the gas when water will start boiling. ...cook until potato and cauliflower are done...
  • Add poppy seeds paste...cashew nuts paste and beaten curd. ..mix them with adding little bit water
  • Add this to the gravy..cover...cook for 2 minutes on low flame. ...
serve hot with poori. .paratha or rice...i prefer it having with sweet pulao
