Ingredients for Vanilla Batter
- All Purpose flour-1.5cup
- Eggs-2 or 3tbsp beaten Yougurt
- Sugar-1cup(granuled)
- Milk-1/2cup
- Baking powder - 1.5tsp
- Vanilla Essence-1tsp
- Baking soda - 1/2tsp
- Vegetable oil-3/4 th cup
For the Chocolate Batter
- Cocoa Powder-2tbsp
- Sugar-1tsp
- 2tbsp milk
- 1/2 vanilla batter
Method
- Grrase the 8inch cake pan with butter or Vegetable oil. ..sprinkle some flour
- Preheat oven at 180 degree c or( 350 F)
- Take a bowl..add flour, baking powder and baking soda. .mix and set aside
- In another bowl mix the cocoa powder with milk and sugar...keep aside
- Take a bowl add butter, sugar..mix until creamy...add eggs or beaten Yogurt ..
- Add vanilla extract and milk...mix until a creamy texture
- Add flour mixture into this smoothy creamy mixture
- Remove 1/2 portion of batter and mix them with cocoa powder mixture
- Now take the greased pan...
To make the layers. ..
Begin from the middle of the pan...take 4tbsp of white batter then over it add 2tbsp chocolate batter...repeat this steps until all batter has been used.
Bake for 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Remove from oven and let cool for 15 minutes...then serve...
